From the Right Bank to the Left Coast

I'll always have Paris.

Sunrooms, Solariums, Conservatories, . . .

It’s Hooked on Fridays and I’m hooked on sunrooms. Also called conservatories, solariums, Florida rooms, porch enclosures . . . am I leaving anything out? They can be cute like this:

or this (although technically I don’t think this is really a sunroom but it has that vibe):

Picture 28

They can also be downright swanky like these:

or more rustic like these:

and while most seem to be used as lounging and sitting areas, they can also make a fantastic workspace:

Whatever you call it, whatever the style, they just make me so happy. I think it’s going on my list of must have’s for our cabin.

I’m finally going to get that vegetable garden going this weekend and do some serious weeding. What do you have planned?

Just beautiful, all of it. I especially like the shots of colors, the purple, the green, the reds. So nice to see, I think I have to have everything colorful. I’m going to have to learn to scale back.

sunrooms are my favorite because you can use them all year round!! and lord knows i need my winter sunshine when i can get it 😉 that second-to-last one will have to be added to my inspiration files! love ti!

  31. Ohh, I want a sunroom. It’s so cold now, here in Sydney, Australia. Second week of winter and I’m already complaining 😉

Would love a lovely, warm sunroom to just soak the warmth in. I’ve got a back deck (covered), but the wind can still be chilly.

A sunroom is a must for my dream house.

  32. Meg says:

I LOVE the rustic ones, and turned into a work space?! Genius!
